This course focuses on basic managerial functions like planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling. It provides the students with an understanding of what the job of a manager involves. At the end of this course, students should be able to: 1) describe the skills needed to be a successful manager; 2) understand the benefits and challenges of a diverse, global workforce; 3) understand the advantages, disadvantages, and best practices of utilizing teams within organizations; 4) develop self-awar
